And I'm not too big on the THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK x4 of drums in my house. Not to mention, most of the bands in their set list we've seen in one way or another. The idea is great in case people don't want to sing or play drums and there are extra guitars. That way people aren't just sitting out cause they want to play guitar, but have to wait their turn. And though I've never liked the majority of setlists (Metallica has had the most enjoyable by far), there's some good bands coming and there's no telling if RB will have the same, though RB took alot of hype away from the game by releasing pretty much every popular Iron Maiden song as DLC next week XD -Runnin' Down A Dream - Tom Petty -All Along the Watchtower - Bob Dylan -Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash -Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones -Back Round - Wolfmother -21sts Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson -Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers -Deep Purple -Megadeth -Children of Bodom -Rammstein -Queen & David Bowie -Public Enemy Featuring Zakk Wylde -The Sword -Iron Maiden That's not a bad selection of songs/bands I'm looking forward to, especially with Megadeth returning. |

I'm happy just to see Tom Petty in something, because I was wondering if there was something that had prevented it thus far. Hopefully he'll get a bit of stuff showing up in all the games now. I'd love a nice Boston style 6-pack of Tom Petty stuff to show up on RB some time...

Not only once, but twice! Don't know many songs of his, but the Heartbreakers one could be Free Fallin'. Which would be fine with me. Song has good memories for me. |

[/quote] Unlikely because that's off the same album as Runnin' Down a Dream, which was one of his "solo" albums. There's plenty of good stuff released under The Heartbreakers though, with Refugee up at the top of that list. I mostly just want his stuff for doing vocals... I remember Tom Petty saying he was going to play Through The Fire and The Flames as the Super-Bowl half-time show, then we found out it was an april fools joke.

Better quality.
http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/14294...rl_e3.html But yeah...love this style. Wish the actual game was more like that. Who wants a Beatles fantasy RPG? Edit: Bah...it's embeding the wrong one. :-\ Anyway...there's a link on the right side there.

Best quality.
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-...tles/50199 I was originally pretty meh about this game, since Beatles songs don't have very interesting instrumental parts, but after seeing the trailers and the vocal harmonizing, it's looking a lot more enticing. |
