For those of us in the USA that can't make it to Summer of Sonic, we now have a event here in the USA that will fill that gap, at least this year.

SEGA today announced Sonic Boom, an official community event that will be held at E3 and open to the public. The event will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series and have speical surprises and guests for the fans. Sonic Generations will be playable to the public at that event so that is worth just going.

The event is FREE on June 8th, Club Nokia in Los Angeles but space is limited, if you are able to go, visit http://sonicboom.eventbrite.com/

Rebecca Black's Friday: The dream is over

"Ark Music Factory", aka Patrice Wilson, wanted to charge people $3 for watching Rebecca Black's "Fried Egg" "Friday" video.
Miss Black wanted it to be free. To keep Ark from charging the fee, she issued a DMCA takedown notice of her own song.
Thanks to the nature of takedown notices, YouTube immediately washed the turd of a video from their servers while Black and Wilson, who rapped that one verse in the middle of the song, battle over the rights.
