I'm not waiting for a "Lite" version (i love bulky consoles. The normal DS is the most comfy for me), but for better games.

I'm not saying that the ports are worthless or something like that, i have no doubt they're done very well. Thing is i'm not really into ports. The only thing i would tolerate is SSFIV3D, but ONLY if they fixed the flaws the console version had (which are a lot).

Kid Icarus is tempting, since i loved Sin & Punishment, but again, 1 game for a console ins't worth it. Maybe in a couple years when they release something like a Pokemon or a Smash Bros (PLEASE DO). Or some nice third party games.

The reason people are waiting for a Lite version is mostly because of better battery life.

From what I've read it is stupid easy to replace the battery with an even better one, and Madcatz is going to release one soon enough.

This or Shadow Wars are what I would say. I'm enjoying Steel Diver, but I think SSF4 would offer more life (at least if you have online play). It also has better 3D effects. That said Steel Diver is quite fun, and I would recommend it but if you are only picking up 1 or 2 games, I wouldn't suggest Steel Diver (or PilotWings because I find that dull).

That said most of the titles Im looking forward to don't come out until the summer

Yeah... I don't blame you. I didn't pick up SSF4 either, but pilotwings definitely isn't for everyone. Unless the actual game is more entertaining than the demo at best buy, I don't think it should be something you pick up without ever having tried a pilotwings game.

Play the AR game. It is pretty kickass. There's a dragon. Also Ghost Recon is really really really good.

Also when you update the system you get a free 3D OK Go music video. Unfortunately the next system update will delete it, but it's still awesome.

[/quote]White Knuckles, keep on trying back with the system update, I originally couldn't get it and tried again an hour later and got it. Probably high demand. I guess the 3DS had 2 times the amount of preorders the Wii had, which is pretty impressive.

kid icarus isn't even a launch title, and that'd be the main reason why i have not saved up for one

Which is funny because when I went to pick mine up at Gamestop this afternoon they insisted I preorder all the games I want.. the reason?

'Because they wanted to know how this system was going to do in retail'

Anyways. I never got to play with a demo of the machine..and I'm glad I didn't. I was pretty much blown away when I opened the box. I'm not gonna lie..probably the coolest electronic purchase ever. SF4 honestly looks like a live action diorama. The AR archery game itself is really fucking awesome. Can't wait for more quality titles.

Oh no it's not that, it's that I can't get my DS to work on my school's wifi. If there's a way to stream wifi from an android phone or a wii (or a PC, though my laptop doesn't have a wifi card that connectify works with), please let me know.

Also I played Find Mii today (I've met 3 people on Street Pass, one of them twice cause I think he lives cross the hall from me). I got a Hat for my mii. I was happy.
