So it seems like without the commission I was relying on I can still pay my taxes on time but I will have almost nothing left in the bank for like a week, maybe less.

I actually had to go a week with a negative account balance back in early February when the DC area got hit with those two big snow storms. A loan payment came up and pretty much wiped out my account, and I hadn't been to work for three weeks because I work part time for an alternative school that was closed because of the weather

So my folks came up last week for breakfast, met some of the kids in my hall, all that jazz.

Anyway, I was talking to my dad today and he told me the craziest thing.  He was talking to his boss' secretary about her car, cause she mentioned she was going to Peru with her husband soon, and he asked her what she was gonna do with it.  She mentioned she was going to give it back to her parents who live in College Station, which was where one of the kids my folks met last week is from.  Turns out this girl is the older sister of the guy's ex-girlfriend.
