Why pair an i7-860 and 12GB of RAM with THAT? What's going on here? Feeling generous? Karf is a respectable human being. http://i.imgur.com/MTVw5.png Thank you, Mr. Pelican. |

Can you split your steam games between a few harddrives? I'm about to get a new SSD in and want to know if I can use the old one for games, but it's only big enough to fit one or two.

But you can map and mount volumes any way you want.
My steam folder is mounted to a volume that is a SSD. What you can do is install your new SSD and move steam to it using this tutorial: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_arti...-YUBN-8129 Then format and remount your old SSD as a folder within your steam folder for a certain game: http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-mou...n-windows/ |

Just replaced my 8800GT with a GTX460OC. Quite a difference.
Except now all of my Windows Experience scores are in the 7.1+ range except my processor, which is a 5.8 ;x 5.8 Processor, 7.1 RAM, 7.5 Graphics, 7.5 Gaming Graphics, 7.4 Primary Hard Disk. I'm moving at max 20Mbps, I don't need that much processing power on the NIC anyway. Hell, my WAP is using the onboard ethernet. |
