as long as you actually like her 3 years doesnt matter. but the whole issue is like a 25 year old dude and a 16 year old girl where she feels really insecure or whatever so he can talk her into a bunch of stuff and all that. no one should care if you actually like her assuming youre not like mega creeper and always target 15 year old girls. atleast that my opinion . no one would care if she were 20 and you were 25

Most states have a segmented approach for this reason. I think 16 and over within 3 years is usually OK. But again you have to check for yourself. I did read an interesting article on this phenomenon though. People mature physically and emotionally at different speeds. The law doesn't know how to address that. But if you are pretty close in age and it is legal why not? But if she doesn't seem older than she is yea it might be kinda creepy.

state consent law in Georgia and Alabama says 16. I think it's 17 in Tennessee. Just check the law in your state. Age difference doesn't really matter as long as it's mature. Ask her out yo.

Exactly. I mean, my dad is ten years older than my mom and I'm pretty sure they met when she was young. It's not that big a deal so long as you do as others have already suggested.
