I've learned not to control my life, but rather to just enjoy whatever comes to me. Since I can't get what I want when I actually try and get it, I just stand back and have fun. In your case, you shouldn't really find that euphoria you had as soon as you would want to, but if you can just relax and live happily, without worrying about that stuff, you should at least be able to stay sane until you find that spark you want. I must admit that I am the patient (read: lazy) kind of person. Surf's way is more for the active kind. Choose whichever fits the best. I was really busy today (Sleeping, Guitar, Piano, Dawn Of War 2) and now I have to cram for a Japanese test that I have first thing in the morning and do three math quizzes before school starts. Now I'm about to go kick off my study-thon by watching the season premiere of Venture Bros. Good thing I know how to prioritize my life.

see, that's how I look at school, if i had to cram for a test, I didn't learn the material in the first place and it's not worth busting my ass over.

Have to work 6 hours today with a 15 minute brake because they don't compensate minutes for extra hours you work.Â
Update: I really want to quit but I've got no where else to go, nothing to fall back on. I can't stand my fucking job anymore and can't find not ONE goddamn redeeming quality to it. It's not good pay, it's not satisfying work, it doesn't make me feel good, as a matter of fact, it's kind of like high school all over again and I fucking DROPPED from high school because of the same, mean, stupid mother fuckers I have to cater to every day at a job that makes me want to commit seppuku. I need something else... I need something that's NOT this fucking shit. Edit #2: Called in after finding out my cloths were still in the wash when I went ready to go to work. |

I'm getting my astronomy test back today.
I hope that I did well despite only putting the bare minimum on studying. |

I got into my car the other day and turned the key only to realize that HeK's brother had left the lights on and killed the battery. We boost it, get it home, and I get right back behind the wheel a few nights later only to realize that the batter is dead. Totally dead, as in won't hold a charge dead. So now it's been broken into, the radiator has popped a leak AND the battery has died in a few short weeks. Fucking car. To top it all off I was feeling better today 'til I got outside, now it feels like I'm breathing around a bowling ball that's lodge in my chest. |

It has nothing to do with allergies. I have a cold that I was getting over; woke up this morning feeling much better, but then this evening I get outside and breathe it in... and wham, a little pain, much discomfort.
