Seriously though, since they made that the best way to do it, you may aswell be doing this.  Game needs reworking of it's loot system BADLY.

Or you could you know, not use cheats/exploits willingly.  It's no different in my eyes than opening up the HL2 console, typing and typing in give-me-weapons cheat.

I'm a level 28(9?) dude, so I'm up for tagging along with anybody.  I've got a bad-ass defender class mod that boosts team shields +30% and 3 skills up 2-3 points.  I've also got this fucking own Orange-level repeater.  Seems pretty basic at 80 damage, 3 or so fire rate, and a 12 clip... except it does the most god damn amazing fire damage of any weapon I've seen.  I was getting my ass handed to me the first time I met the crimson lance, and then I found this gun.  Next thing I know I am cooking entire squads alive with this baby, no one pretty much can survive more than 4-5 shots from the thing regardless of armor.  Fire and forget too, this baby does like 500 fire damage per second at it's best.

God I hope they release the damn patch already though, it makes me feel like an idiot for investing in the assassin tree.

Ignite is the best fucking skill you can get for Siren, anything near you takes massive fire damage

1 - Run into pack of enemies after killing something, lite them all on fire
2 - Use phase walk to do shockwave damage
3 - Wait for phasewalk to expire doing more shockwave damage

Siren is the other character I really wanted to play as. I'm trying to think about whether to redo my huntards skill points in gunslinger. I was going for the best skills in each but I just realized I have enough skill points to start putting int he gunslinger trees last skill which is effing amazing. The only problem is that I picked all the useful skills already in that tree.

Bird specs are the best specs in my opinion of what I've played of Mordercai.
The thing swoops in and does 36k damage for my friend at level 32.
And it hits multiple targets for that kind of damage.

clearly you have not seen how rape bloodwing is


at the very least, try to get 1 in most of the bloodwing abilities, then you can use a class mod to buff those, or buff the abilities you neglected (class mods don't buff abilities you have 0 points invested in).

but seriously, bloodwing is kind of rape, with the right buffs you can have him do dmg in the 1000's very early in game to multiple targets (up to 9 at least if you include class mods), and be firing him off literally every 5 seconds with either carrion call or class mod buffs to Predator (the bloodwing class mod is basically a win mod). Bloodwing is one of the only ways a sniper will ever stand a chance against any kind of horde, his main weapons (the ones he can buff) are incredibly high damage but do not lend themselves to attacking large groups of enemies, whereas brick has rockets, engy has machine guns, and the chick has smgs.

and if that's your ideal build, know that once you have that many skill points, your sniper proficiency will probably be so stupidly high that you really shouldn't waste any skill points buffing your accuracy and nerfing sway (it might be useful early game when all the sniper rifles suck ass but late game you'll have a strong proficiency and a good rifle). It's just not a necessary buff (unless you notice a difference between 99.9 and 99.8 accuracy ). Plus, if you put the points into the bird there's no reason whatsoever for chaotic health regen, bloodwing will take care of it for you. You can also get 100% stun against equal level enemies with the bird, stun in shooters has been and always will be stupidly powerful.

+50% team health
+n berzerker skill
+n berzerker skill 2
+50% team melee dmg

4 bricks running around at +200% hp and +200% melee could punch the shit out of anything

also idk what i did but i started off my second playthrough underleveled but now im stupidly over-leveled everywhere i go . halfway through new haven at this point, gonna go to bed soon and check out the secret basement in new haven when i wake up
