I get the Newegg sales e-mails (with the secret promo codes) and there was nothing too special today unless you are in the market for a PSU.

OCZ ModXStream Pro: $59.99 ($45 off then another $25 MIR)
Promo code - EMCYSZR53

Corsair TX 950W: $119.99 ($40 off then another $20 MIR)
Promo code - EMCYSZR52

I have the OCZ and I think it works pretty well.

Hello friends, I put together my second build on newegg.  Please review it and tell me where I can save money and which parts may be better.

Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
HDD:  Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Mobo:  ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
Power:  OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W
Ram:  OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
GPU (Combo Deal with CPU):  HIS H587FN1GD Radeon HD 5870 1GB 256-bit
CPU:  AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz

The ati 5870 looks really, really nice, but the price is pretty steep.  Same goes for the X6.  I might have downgrade there, because the total is coming to about 1k right now.  And that price will rape me.  Sad  If you guys know any deals or shortcuts I can take let me know.

Nowhere, your setup looks pretty economical. <100 dollar mobo, combo deal with your proc & GPU. I personally don't trust OCZ stuff after getting a bad chip once but if it works for you then that price is great. The only way you could probably go cheaper is downgrading your card. A $200 card will probably still run all your games on high settings on 1680x1050. Medium on 1920x1080. (Unless you can tolerate <45 framerate)

HDD:  Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Mobo:  BIOSTAR TA890GXB HD AM3 AMD 890GX SATA 6Gb/s HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Power:  OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W
Ram:   OCZ Special Ops Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
GPU:  GIGABYTE GV-R585OC-1GD Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready
CPU (Combo with Mobo):  AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz

Okay, chose a gigabyte brand 5850 with marketed "27% cooler than other cards."  I'll trust gigabyte since they are usually pretty good.  Also found a combo deal for a mobo with the cpu, except I've never really heard of biostar.  Has anyone dealt with their stuff before?  Furthermore, found some heavily discounted ram.  Not sure why, but from what Eightball says it might be a crap shoot.

Managed to take off a little more than $100 with rebates and all.  Is there anything wrong with this build?
