I could see a few seconds, maybe three total for quick boost, but ten is pretty long for everyone on the team to be crit powered and its a rather unnecessary buff.

The strategy mechanic of "hold off, don't cap yet" seems neat, but ten seconds of kritz?  Really?  Ten?

I would support some other boon, like... all medics on the field, bonus 25% - 50% into the ubercharge meter.  Or, something simpler like everyone gets a magic refill of ammo.  I want to see if there's something besides 10s kritz that would make "wait, wait, don't cap... OKAY CAP NOW" a neat twist on CTF.

I like it.  It makes CTF more fun since well, everyone on the team gets pretty much a 10-second "humilition" against the other team, which is enough incentive for me to want to cap.

Plus it prevents CTF stalemates, if you cap it gives you a short steamroll effect.  CTF is NOTORIOUS for stalements and dead-end stuff, this crit boost spices things up a little.

Normally I'd just RTV any and all CTF maps but now I think I'll bother to play them a little.

Yeah, if we could lower it to 3 or 5 seconds I'd go with it, but I could see smaller ctf's like mach4 break with an entire team with crits for 10 seconds. In that time, you could run in, grab the flag and get out killing anyone who tries to stop you.

Not really. Even in CTF deathhall, which is the smallest map ever, that wasn't really an issue.  Mostly because not everyone plays scouts, and sentries > scouts.  And as we all know crits don't do anything against sentries.

I like the 10 sec crits bonus.  I wouldn't say it prevents turtle fortress, but it sure adds a little (much needed) excitement to ctf.

I'm trying to think why valve would have this in the first place... now valve has gone on to say that they do hate stalemate more than a sharp stick in the eye, so I think the reason why this is put in is so that they do make the game go quicker, I mean it's effective but I dunno I think it will lead to more rage quits...

I like it. I say, though, that maybe it needs a little more testing before the kritz is turned off.  If it turns out to be an issue, shorten it or turn it off.  If it really isn't much of an issue, don't.

If people can't stand 10 seconds of running away or getting killed, they shouldn't be playing :-\
It's like a reward for your team when you do good. I'm sure nobody complains when THEY get the crits, just when the other team does.
