European Friday Night Fights 06-06-2008

Come one, come all to the first ever European Friday Night Fights.

Because this is the first European FNF and I don't know how many people will join I won't be putting a password on the server unless a lot of people say they'll be there and would prefer it passworded.

Like Caffeine, I also will be throwing some custom maps in the mix every week and see which ones we like.

This weeks maps will be:

pl_dustbowl_b3 (I know the US server has done this one already but I haven't had a chance to play it yet and it looks like a pretty fun map to start with)
cp_2skyscraper_b3 (This looks fun and is quite high rated on fpsbanana so let's see how it plays!)

Spillover Instructions:

1) Join the overflow server

2) Open the server browser menu, double click on the destructoid server and click 'auto-retry' and then click 'join as soon as a slot is available'.

3) Hit Esc to close the menus, this will allow you to continue to play TF2 while you wait for a slot to open.

**Your reserve slot will work on all three servers**

I doubt it, they have weird time over there.  I feel bad for them sometimes, having to work while us normal folk are sleeping.  Having to sleep while us normal folk are playing.

It's all topsy turvy.

No it will probably be 8pm GMT+1 or whatever timezone Ain is in, more likely than not, it will be around 2pm cst

To reference my own post:

Time: 20:00 CEST (GMT +2)

you'd need to translate that into Eastern standard time for them Ainmo. americans dont do so well with timezone calculation (ESCHATOS)

if he's +2 and im -5 , then it would be 20:00 - 7 hours makes it 1300 , which is 1pm EST

US Time Zones

Eastern -5 GMT
Central -6 GMT
Mountain -7 GMT
Pacific -8 GMT

So..8pm in Amsterdam which is +2 GMT would mean, 1pm est, 12pm cst, 11am mtn, 10am pcf

Well, the first EUFNF felt more like a very busy pub, the skill levels seemed higher than average but there wheren't really enough regulars to password it and do stuff like pickups, hopefully that will change in the future...
