BRB.U: The Trailer for the Server

Okay, I think we need to spread the brb.u community a little bit further, and one of my friends has given me a great idea.
He was testing out his new full version of Fraps, so he was recording all the random stuff he was doing on TF2. A lot of it was on the brb.u server. ;3
Anyway, once he had a fair few videos, he opened up Windows Movie Maker, and created a montage of clips put to the A-Team music. Maybe, if we had some of us recording games we were on, then we could use this same technique as a sort of advert for the server. How awesome would that be? Everybody could contribute, and we could make brb.u a little better known.
Ending on a simple question: Who's in for giving it a go?

The best way to advertise the servers are to seed them, be nice to nice randoms and get them in on the fun... An empty server will stay empty but get two or four people playing in it and people will join... After that, just having fun while keeping a fun vibe. A movie might help but getting to be known as 'that community I've had a great time with' is the best way imho...

Also, invite friends for non-TF2 game-nights...

Still, movies are fun to make and might entice friends to try the server out... So I'm def. willing to give it a go.

We've been talking about this on and off for a while, tomorrow we could just ask everyone to take demos and then toss them all together into a montage.

Creative projects are almost better at advertising the community/server, especially if they get 10,000 + views on youtube

im with caff, getting as many people as possible to record , and then centralizing the source materials here.

I was thinking more everybody chipped in for the same video, rather than multiple different ones. I was also thinking more advertising the community rather than just the servers. I mean, people coming on the servers is nice but it would be even nicer if they wanted to join the community. Am I right? I'm right, aren't I...

In order for the voice over we would need to recreated the first of the intro without the voice, or just simply have him talking, and add the part after that.

It's natural for people to want to spread awesome things and with all the fun we're having, it's something I do want to spread, especially in europe.

For theEuro server we shuld just make a youtube trailer, like cloverfield, jus like a heavy ona  black background, then a random date then BRB,u in big red letters, then a shitload of credits, worked because i saw cloverfield, and it was shit.

Also, I'd like the official plan for this 'cause I don't think it's been nailed down beyond "take demos and post them", but I'm a retard so yeah. 

Do all willing video producers take the demos posted to the FNF 6/6 thread and submit an "entry" to the "BRB.U: The Trailer Contest" as Vandamguy suggests with the video-off mention?  Do we have a desired limit like 3, 4, 5 or more minutes? 

Orrrrrr do we all make like a 30-second-to-one-minute clip and post that with the intent of someone stringing them together into a mish-mash?

Orrrrrr am I worrying too much about this and should just do whatever floats boat and it'll all work out in the end?
