Just a quick glance at a few threads that have popped up seem to have shown that VAVLe's recent crack down on idlers seems to have messed up big time.

I simply suggest this:

Undo all that was done since this "update".

Clean slate for everyone, let this be a teaching moment showing us that VAVLe will not stand for idling (Which, a warning or I don't know, some indication, or anything would have been nice.)

Remove the Halos until you work out all the bugs with them (Dx8 glitch) replace all the items that were deleted from us (My Ambassador and Ubersaw, lol), and for the people that didn't deserve this (I heard a few, and I'm not saying I'm one) get their stuff back.

Then, let the Zero Tolerance hammer drop tomorrow. Anyone that ever idles again gets a big boot, and we all calm down and stop spamming whining threads.

Yes, I idled. I did it, I'll admit. Didn't get squat but apparently an Ambassador and an Ubersaw that are now gone. My Fancy Fedora I got a day or two after the Spy/Sniper is still there, and heck, I agree with VAVLe a bit. But this happened too fast and got out of hand quite a bit.

Plus, my girlfriend who loves TF2 but hasn't been able to play in forever lost all the basic items I idled for her, and that just isn't fair.

I forwarded this post on the Steam Forum to every Valve employee whose e-mail I had.

Is all of it a real big deal? The hats do not add to the game at all, so whats the point of getting pissed off? It'll just add to the excitement when you actually find one. I can understand if you lost a lot if items, but still =/ over a hat is a little ridiculous.

its not the hats, i only have 3 unlocks left, and 1 i dont evenuse, i never even got a hat.

Nerds are mad because they cheated for a long time, might not have got something, and won't be getting a free hat ever. I can understand like 3clipse, getting things, and having legit stuff taken away, that's alright to be angry about. But if you idled, got hats, and had them taken away, you got what was coming.

[/quote]My Huntsman I played over 400 hours with, obtained legit, now I have to leave it up to chance to ever find one again because you only get the milestone once. Guess I can't even play my favorite class, fuck this.

I don't give a crap about my hat I found yesterday, I don't give a crap about the unlocks that I idled for, because I'll find them again, but there was no reason to delete my Huntsman. What the hell am I supposed to play on FFG's arcade night tonight? I suck as every other goddamned class. Forget having fun tonight I guess.

Yeah, it's a group 150 strong who are so butthurt about getting their idled weapons taken away that they will outright refuse to heal anyone wearing a halo.

This truly is pathetic. I never received at hat. Infact, since the last update, haven't been getting anything at all. The fact they upped the drop rate on hats pissed me off even more.

I finally get one (sort of a crappy one) as a sort of "consolation prize", but by wearing it some people aren't gunna heal me? I finally got a hat, I'm gunna wear the damn hat, if you don't heal me and we lose because of it, then it's your own damn fault.
