Yeah, it's a group 150 strong who are so butthurt about getting their idled weapons taken away that they will outright refuse to heal anyone wearing a halo.

This truly is pathetic. I never received at hat. Infact, since the last update, haven't been getting anything at all. The fact they upped the drop rate on hats pissed me off even more.

I finally get one (sort of a crappy one) as a sort of "consolation prize", but by wearing it some people aren't gunna heal me? I finally got a hat, I'm gunna wear the damn hat, if you don't heal me and we lose because of it, then it's your own damn fault.

What's the point in crying about items when they are essentially saying "I don't give a fuck about this POS game anymore"?

These hats have apparently driven some people mad.

The halo is so pointless.  It just makes snipers that wear them easier to spot and it's broken for spies since people can see them with the halo on when cloaked.  I at least wished they would've given players a better chance at getting a hat they want since I don't want my only hat to be this stupid Halo.

Not that it really matters.  Not gonna be butthurt about it like so many people are.  I'll just actually play the game and have fun.

*EDIT* And apparently they did up the chance of getting a hat, so my chances of getting a hat just went from zero to slim...YAY!

I think it's more or less a bitter irony and a small temp. victory for idlers (or people who don't want to equip the halo).  I mean, that's hilarious.  Their reward makes them easier to be killed  ;D

Idlers shouldn't get anything, but Valve is doing a tremendous job of dealing with this in the worst way possible.  HEY HALF THE ACTIVE COMMUNITY, WANNA NOT HAVE ANY ITEMS INCLUDING SOME OF YOUR LEGIT ONES YEAAAAAAA LETS NOT DO ANYTHING TO FIX OUR STUPID SYSTEM LIKE GET TRADING GOING OR RETHINK THIS WHOLE IDEA

Admittedly the increased drop rate of hats is noticeable, played for 4 hours and saw 3 hats, 2 were back to back but it still doesn't distract from the simple fact that if you're not getting a hat for a class you want a damn hat for what's the point.
