This TFT marked the passing of my 10th hour playing this game ever, wee! Had fun, and it puzzles me how while I normally hate playing when I don't know the maps, this doesn't seem to be the case with TF2. Maybe because I don't know anything else either.

Anyway, made a little video out of boredom yesterday. Contains snipersnipersniper and a poorly hidden shoutout to Kor in a credits screen that took about 30 minutes longer to make than it should have, because I pressed the wrong button once ruining everything until I found it again.

Wow, very nice video.

I wish I was a better sniper, but I'm going to at least partially blame my substandard hardware for that. Just isn't very helpful to the twitch reactions needed to be a good sniper.

Nice video, but your credits are wrong, we are not associated with destructoid any more, should have a plug for brbu at the end...or beginning

Thanks. Also there were more maps and angrier people towards the end but I got kind of sick of taking clips from the demos.  :-[

But yeah really liking the game and would like to play more, it just takes a bit of temporary suspension of good judgement to sit up and play at 3am on workdays...

That video is good. I love the muted chatter, especially when you headshot some guy mid-air and you can barely hear scotty go "niiiice" all sarcastically.

What it doesn't show: my bat your face (though i think we were on the same side on the games shown)

Yeah I ate several bats (on 2fort in particular), 150 ping and close combat just don't go well together. Not discrediting anyone of course, just saying it happens a bit too often. I do have that machinegun after all, just haven't quite gotten used to how to lead it yet as it doesn't seem to go by the same (very nice) antilag code as the sniper.

Off to sleep, maybe get on the server sometime during the weekend, would be fun. Need to plug my mic back in too, had the guitar plugged in then...

Oh and by the way, for the ones that remember the complaining some people were doing about matthew95p; while YouTube sound quality in general isn't amazing you can clearly hear what people were complaining about at 2:11 in the vid... Notice the volume of the music go down and not being able to hear almost any in-game/voicecom sound; I didn't touch anything about that when making the vid. Didn't say anything about it but everything about my sound got messed up too as soon as he was talking, sometimes even going practically muted. Something was messed up bad for him.

Hey, a couple of the frags are of you (including one of the nicest ones @ 1:40)  :-*
I'm sure you are the better sniper as is reasonable with over a hundred more hours experience.  And last map, while I really didn't care to do anything about it, you were definitely outfragging me.

Anyway I don't really see a reason for having an ego when not playing competitively so no worries. I'm proud about my past but that was official league gaming and this is public playing and not even the same games. I never talk trash, that's not what I play games for. The point of the video was just 1. what I felt was an ironic perspective considering everything I ever heard all night long was how the snipers never killed anything and "who the fuck is torzelan"/"this torzelan kid is pissing me off", and 2. boredom (the real deciding factor).

Speaking of ego though, do you remember your chatting pretty much every time you got frags on me last map? I don't mind but yeah. It's all good. You cool with me, I'm cool with you. Goes for everyone  8)
