As of today, BRB has a new server. This Chicago based 12-slot server is designed for Scrim play, with a hidden 13th spot for recording along with no-crits on the server. There is no all-talk on this server, as it designed for practicing scrim play for both 6v6 and 5v5 setups. The maps are going to be classic CEVO and ESEA maps, along with several highly popular 5-CP maps not currently on CEVO rotation (i.e. Warpath).

Along with the roll-out of our new server, we have put out a call for captains. We are looking for players who can command a scrim team, keep their players on time, and are committed to having some community fun. To keep things interesting, Brb will be sponsoring ladder tournaments throughout 2010 with a variety of prizes. More details on what and when will be forthcoming.

Heh, I can actually follow the movement of combat with my own eyes and not have shit randomly disappearing,\ and not have random projectiles not render on  my screen.

I've not played FPS competitively for a few years, but count me in.

A couple of things to bring up, this is casual competitive for BRBUers exclusively for now (if people are interested we might field a team to play some clans like we used to under Duck later), there will be ladders, it's all for fun so don't worry about skill - if you can work as a team you are good for this, and there will be prizes. So you want to get in now for the first BRBU ladder.

Send Trick a PM or post here if you want to form a team and do it soon because the first ladder starts when he has enough teams. Trick is handling the organization behind this and funding Yellow so make sure you thank him and take advantage of this.

0 - "say_team Holy shit halp me"
