Hell yes I'd be down for this. I've been pretty busy with my winter break so I haven't had much time for playing, but I'd love to get on some sort of a practice schedule and play on a legit team. I'm way rusty right now, but I can play a pretty nasty Soldier once I get back into the swing of things.

There is definitely a need for multiple teams. While posting in this thread is the best method to get your name out there, all it really requires is somebody to take the initiative to ask around.

I believe the first match will probably be within a week or so, just as a heads up MGR. Jeff if you can shoot me the MGR roster (your general pool, not 6 specific people just yet) I will update that today as well. Edit: Updated for the teams so far.

I'd love to play - but alas like most others here have 0 exp playing comp, so leading isn't really in my repetoire...
also... uhm shotty carebears open slot? that team's stacked but seriously... if theres a team of all nubs I don't mind taking initiative to lead (organize) them into faildom! trust me... I'm a 2L |

You should do it, this is all for fun and within BRBU only so there is really nothing to lose. I bet you could field a team pretty easy as well. |

I'd be interested in getting in on a noob group, if there is one, as I've played all of two casual scrims in my entire time of failing at TF2. Maybe if Savage wanted to lead one?
The greatest post that ever was, even greater than the last. |

To help move this along I've set up this thread. So if you are interested post there and put what kind of team you'd be interested in forming.

I also wanted to add that the first Scrim Ladder will be very soon. I am pretty excited about this, and we should have decent prizes and a theme to go along with it. That being said, the deadline for creating a team and registering with me is January 15th. If the first post isnât updated with your team name, then you arenât signed up for it. Remember, there is no need to make a clan tag or be overly clever with it. This is not an invitational; Iâm not spamming the ESEA IRC looking for clans to fill out the tourney. This is for BRB, by BRB. You could have the Nintendo clan; have one player rename as Mario, one as Yoshi. Hell, you could even throw a Kirby in there. Have fun with it. |

I hope you guys understand that good teamwork and communication go way farther than actual skill. Don't be afraid to play if you aren't that great, just try to play with the team and talk.

Please tell me Carebears is not a yellow ladder group because if so it's going to plow through the competition with all it's top 20 in the ranking players...
4/5 of the people in carebears are at the top of the ranks. |

You're right... I'd probably rather keep CAREBEARS for fights outside of BRB,U, and have a separate team for intra-BRB,U. so I just got a fun idea... Â if this all goes well, we have 1v1 matches as follows:
every player that enters plays head to head with every class and tally up the scores. each class gets best of 3 deaths winner of 2 rounds/deaths gets a win for that class person with most wins as that class gets the class title - there might be playoffs for this too... have like a season from this we can form a super brb team! don't have to make it too complex in tracking scores - just have 1 long list of names to play everyone by a certain date trust me... I'm a 2L |
