Wouldnt that partially make the scottish resistance better?

I mean, you can't mulch with it, but you can set 2 - 3 traps on the same door instead

If you play against competetive-level scouts then you can more or less guarantee you will get fucked trying to use the stickies on them. The time it takes you to shoot and then detonate a bomb isn't much less than the time it will take a good scout to anally rape you, and it's pretty obvious to the scouts which way the bomb is going to go. The only way I find I can deal with them is to use the grenades once they get close, or better yet run away and try to find a scout or soldier to help me.

no, because the other half of the demoman's job is literally just w+m1+m2 on the enemy combo (sticky spam on slow-moving soldiers and demomen does incredible amounts of damage). With Scottish Resistance you basically give up all offensive capabilities. It is a fantastic tool for turtling a point when your team is at a massive disadvantage tho (think entire minefields covering badlands last), just don't expect to push back and recapture any points without re-equipping the standard launcher first.
