almost everybody that ever plays on BRBU is a current player of brbu.

I still vote carebears should not be in the yellow ladder, it would just be to unfair (plus it would totally kill an already almost full team).

Turtle, if you've ever played competitively you'd know the difference between the mindset of players in a 5v5 scrim vs 12 players dicking around for fun.  When you game competitively you go from just chilling out to making every kill matter, every death matter.  In a competitive evironment if you mess up it might cost you the match.  That being said, it is true many of the players on BRBU are in the group, but ultimately the ability to win scrims will come from team strength and not individual strength.  A team of semi-coordinated top ranking players will always lose to a drilled, practicing together regularily team ofany skill.

Speaking of which Yellow is open for anyone to practice or just to hop in and talk team work. It could be very useful just to get to know your team and talk about playing, but its not required fpr the match.

That’s a good idea. I will update the OP with rosters as different teams sign up. I believe the first match will probably be within a week or so, just as a heads up MGR. Jeff if you can shoot me the MGR roster (your general pool, not 6 specific people just yet) I will update that today as well.

Great news!

Tr1ck and I have been working on Yellow Server for a while, and thanks to a nice thing called SourceTV...

All matches will be broadcasted through CAREBEARTV.
You just have to enter

connect 68.232.174.110:27020

in console, and voilà!


You can spectate the match as others are playing with a 30 seconds delay.
There is currently a limit of 24 spectators, but it can be raised to up to 128.
There is a limit of one message on chat every 5 seconds, to avoid stupid spam.
You can see what people say (text and voice) in game, so players can send shoutout if they want to =D. Or they can simply be heard, if they aren't using ventrilo/skype/teamspeak, which I would seriously suggest.


We expect people to spectate the matches from the BRB Superbowl, or any other competitive matchups there will be.
Demoes will be recorded thanks to that, and will be available upon request (Ask Tr1ck).
