Ok, the new maps have been matlocked:
cp_fastlane - This looks real good, how has this escaped our custom nights? ctf_turbine - A new CTF map which I don't remember playing but it looks nice if a bit grey... I'm looking forward to burning you people on these! Signature temporarily out of order until I get off my lazy ass to fix it. |

Only way from one base to the other is by one open room, which makes it pretty easy to keep a whole team pinned down for awhile. Think 2fort but minus the sewers/water. If there was an alternate route I'm sure I'd like it more, but as is it's probably my least favourite ctf map. It does handle smaller crowds pretty well though. Ripped like paper raped with ease hey scrub nerd pyros suck on these |

Sigh Turbine. I have been pushing to get this server killer off rotation for weeks now

The realy problem is there's a lack of good ctf style maps. Just take a look at our maplist.

With the different paths it's not too difficult for any class to move in the courtyard from one base to another. Getting that final push to grab the intel is a challenge, but it's supposed to be. Whereas in Turbine it's too easy to completely control the middle with the right players (like a good sniper or two), leaving the entire other team sitting in their base to turtle up. from steam news page:
"By hitting the alt-fire key, the Pyro is able to produce a blast of compressed air that knocks enemies away, and redirects enemy projectiles. Itâs a highly versatile tool, allowing Pyros to get away from nearby enemies after igniting them, to kill enemy soldiers with their own rockets, or to separate enemy Medics from their healing targets. In particular, it allows a skilled Pyro to contain an enemy invulnerability push, and even to separate the Medic completely if the surrounding terrain supports it." Breaks already broken thousand foot drop in steal. *sigh* |
