cp_heaven_b2 - No, its not that one in the sky we played one week  :Smile

ctf_wildwood - seems to be 2fort-ish

koth_retro_pit - reminds me of booster's tower from Mario RPG

cp_frost_b6 - I think we did an early alpha of this some months back

I hope for once we can break the streak of a map simply not downloading, but you know what helps that....?

Downloading them before hand Wink

I still maintain me and you are the only ones in brbu to do that =p

-EDIT-

I saved your TFT from having a map not download, and I found out why some maps are not downloading properly...

Here's the wget log from my server

Code:
--12:20:26--  http://www.brbuninstalling.com/maps_ftp/sv_downloadurl/tf2/maps/cp_heaven_b2a.bsp.bz2
           => `/home/rilwarin/www/www.brbuninstalling.com/maps_ftp/sv_downloadurl/tf2/maps/cp_heaven_b2a.bsp.bz2'
Reusing existing connection to www.brbuninstalling.com:80[url=http://][/url]].
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 18,925,092 (18M) [application/x-bzip2]

Here's the wget I just did on my PC
Code:
--2010-02-28 13:52:07--  http://www.brbuninstalling.com/maps_ftp/sv_downloadurl/tf2/maps/cp_heaven_b2a.bsp.bz2
Resolving www.brbuninstalling.com[url=http://][/url]... 67.20.112.92
Connecting to www.brbuninstalling.com67.20.112.92:80[url=http://][/url]... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 22264223 (21M) [application/x-bzip2]
Saving to: `cp_heaven_b2a.bsp.bz2'

Check out the Length headers...... looks like wget ran while you were uploading the maps, there's our problem.

I'm going to swap wget from running every 10 minutes to hourly.

Either way I manually uploaded a non-fucked copy, all 4 maps are proper now.

I always predownload maps.  Even ones that crash so hard they take down the server beyond any hope of non-manual recovery Tongue

<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills
<@Negate> 12121212121212121212
<@Negate> there is a simple pattern
<+Karrde> I changed my mind.  Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD
<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.

Anyway you can get it to do a check between the files kirby, just simply for size? Like if the sizes are not equal, download the other file?

Frost looks great, but through some odd sixth sense I already feel like I'll be getting some horrible frame rate issues. Lookin forward to them though.

Possibly, I'll look into it.

Probable fix in testing...

Fix deployed, cron is now running every 30 minutes.

Caff, if you wait untill =< ~1.5 hours (1 hour tbh, 1.5 for uber-saftey net) before an event to upload maps, best upload them to my server via FTP as well (You DID save that user:pass, right?) - Otherwise the check may not have enough times to trigger if it catches you uploading at the wrong time in the 30 min cycle.

Why don't you just mirror every night at 3am? It's not like Caff uploads maps that often. Generally once a week.

Because 24 hours is very granular and doesn't allow for any spontaneity.
