BF: Bad company 2?

Does anyone really think the multiplayer is worth $50? I was mainly gonna buy this for singleplayer, and now I see that there are...other options. Options that prevent online play, but are considerably cheaper.

If you play it for a few weeks to even a month, I say that's worth 50 bucks.  Singleplayer is solid too, so just think of that as a bonus with your great multiplayer experience lol Also Versus is right.  Battlefield has always been about multiplayer with every release.  Modern Combat tried the singleplayer experience, but failed, but Bad Company did singleplayer right, while also bringing us some crazy fun multiplayer.

So yes, BUY IT.

Online play is definitely worth it.

I think it was technically possible to shoot down helicopter pilots in BF2, but you had to use the .50cal and get a headshot...I think it was also technically possible to shoot down jet pilots like that too, but...getting a headshot on a fighter jet's pilot...good luck with that.

No, it's perfect where it is because at least a decent squad stands a chance of taking any of the vehicles in game out (with helicopter already being pretty difficult)

Yeah, no one on the ground really needs jets anyways.  That's what lasers and air strikes are for.

I was surprised to see it trucking on so well.  This is pretty awesome.  Definitely should look to getting reserve slots put in.  There might be something built in for it, cause I had a very nicely designed pop up tell me that "A Member is coming in and you might get kicked."

I knew it was a good buy when I headshotted some other sniper at over 300m..then ran with my pistol..took out a guy with a heavy MG..ran again and took someone out and within 5 seconds ran to a tank and C4'd that bitch. Then I picked up a silenced sub from a nearby corpse and took out two more people and then get shottied in the face.

My God what a fun game.
