Bleh, all the maps sucked.  Woodytower was way too open, sandblasted crashed the server, factory was just....awful, capping that second point was murder, so much spam in that corridor.

And whalerace, oh god, whalerace...

It had potential, until everyone wanted to gay it up with Melee only.

People ask me ask me why I barely play, most of it has to do with running a successful progression guild in WoW, but the other part is when people stop playing the game/maps as is. I might be a buzzkiller on this, but I don't play TF2 to fuck around for hours at a time. I love the thrill of competition, and laughing deeply when it all goes to hell(quirky reflects/facestabs/skill rockets). That's what the community was built on, and consider that food for thought when you play RPS for the 6th time in a row, or do melee only for 20 minutes plus. We might all play for different reasons, but the Heart of the Game have never changed.
