I don't know if this is already big news in the Bad Company 2 community, but SecuRom is being patched out of the Steam version of the game.

I really can't believe DICE has let the game sit out for what, 3 or 4 weeks with such core functionality broken like it is. Makes me wonder if DICE has a QA dept. |

Yeah we still can't play the game without putting a machine in a DMZ
so it's impossible for my brother, who recently bought the game, to play when i am. so i might not be playing as much idk (04-09-2013, 11:24 PM)Dr. Zaius link Wrote:well i'm not really understanding how it's faster internet. and like google just magically rolls outs this stuff and it's 100 times faster than my internet? why? that doesn't set off any alarms to anyone? It's ghetto but it will work, providing your ISP allows more than one WAN IP. |

Small patch was tossed out today. Not sure what it did yet.
*EDIT* Eh, didn't do too much. Changes: ⢠Server browser downloads 100 entries instead of 500 in a chunk â this makes the âCancelâ button more responsive ⢠Fixed crash during server browser refresh ⢠Low-level networking library switched back to the optimized version (the game client was temporarily running with one that had more debugging logic in it) ⢠Localization fixes in the scoreboard ⢠Server browser ping handling code modified
