Though I hate Squad DM...It's abit better than plugging away at Arica Harbor with 6 people.

With the way it is set up for multiplayer, for whatever reason, squad death match is super freaking easy to seed. We seeded it with just 3-4 people. However Rush or Conquest is next to impossible. When we changed it to Rush because we had maxed out and versus wanted to play we never got higher than 20. So I say we keep it at squad deathmatch and switch it to Rush when it fills and more want to join. If we never hit 32 this month then let's cut the server slots down to 24 or something.

FYI no matter what I do, the server will not show up on the in-game browser w/ punkbuster ticked in the filter options.

Oh shit, yea I bet it is. Server was grayed out earlier too so I had to reinstall it because resetting it wouldn't work.

Edit: I asked Caff to submit a ticket. For the record problems are - server won't respond even after resetting had to reinstall, and server won't show up in master list.

There are currently reports of outages, servers not greying out in the master server list. EA/DICE are currently working on the issue and have this resolved as soon as possible. We will let you know once the issue has been fixed.

Also having Rush|Ranked in the server title is kinda useless. I'm trying to figure out how to say all default settings in one word. Should I put "Vanilla" in the title? Because one thing I noticed trying to play on other servers is that people dick around with hardcore or turning the map off or other things and it is hard to tell. I think that knowing that all settings are default would be an attraction. Maybe I should just go with "Default Settings."

I removed the toggle for Rush mode on Guardian, it will reset to SQDM normally now.

Probably change brbuninstalling.com to BRB.Uninstalling or just BRB.u as well, we don't have much space to work with and our URL is spammed in uber flashy bold 72pt every 300 seconds and when someone connects, anyway.

I think we should double the ad time and change it to "BRBUninstalling.com for VoIP/Events" and then instead of handing out reserve slots we should hand out Guardian autobalance immunity for those that aren't dicks and try to change teams themselves if they can to balance.

Actually Immunity will soon be useless since they are supposed to have fixed autobalance.

Its never given me problems with TF2, let me know what I need to submit a ticket for and I will, the access account you and surf have should let you do anything you want to the server, even reinstall it and change up all of the mods.

The netcode is extremely affected by server performance and ping. For some reason our server seems to be one of the worst ones I've played on for hit detection but the problem is by no means isolated. I have played on worse. But you have no idea how annoying it is to shotgun someone or knife someone, see the blood, get killed and then see them at full health.

This.

red and blue are bad enough for hit detection if you go compare them to a higher quality host, and BC2's netcode just amplifies gameservers historically bad hardware. Last night alone I unloaded 40mm shotty rounds into people @ less than 3m, at least 4 times, saw blood splatter and a tink of a HS a few times. nada for teh killz tho.
