back on a similar but not the same track... I see that my idling has gotten me 2 drops which will fit with 4 others making the final refined metal to craft a hat... that and i found a demo fro 2 days ago, so I'm +2 hats in 2 days!

why do people care so much about hats?

I like them on other people, makes it easier to differentiate who is who on the other team.

Like if I see a solly with no hat who I know sucks and the Solly with the hat that prapes all, I know who to be worried about.

But yea kirby, only problem with that technique is so many brbu people who are awesome either have no hat(s) or wear the same hats as everyone else.

Still, for some of the rarer hats it works pretty well.

lul, my first two hats were engie hats.  Well,not really.  I first got the fedora and trophey belt after valve fucked up the drop rate after an update.  Since I never play sniper/spy, I crafted them for a mining light, which is ok, except I rarely play engie.  Then I craft all my metal and get a fucking ENGINEERS CAP.  So I crafted those, and got a modest pile of hat, which is awesome.  Then after the latest update I crafted my camera beards into a Ushanka, then I found a demomans pimphat.

Anyway, the point is, the engie hats suck, and my current hats are superior to them.
