I've kinda figured out whoring.

Full Server: Absolute unorganized fail.

Almost full server (Missing 5 or so people): Ok, but people are still flailing like headless chickens.

Half Full server: Just about perfect.

3 or 4 people: Ok...but it'll take a long time.

Yea all whoring really needs to be done on the 10 man server someone put up.  It is just too hard to organize.  Also you can turn auto team balance off.

Also how long do you think it will take before I can play pyro in a real match?

I went ahead and went with someone's tiny personal server, and I'm all the way up to the axe.

The backburner is sweeeeet. Classic pyro play with an almost broken increase in power. Though I'm still trying to decide which to go for re: secondary.

once all the people started leaving the achievment thread everything was great. I appreciate caff's effort but organizing 25 people over the internet isnt gonna happen that often.

No, my experience is that it takes a handful of semi-intelligent courteous people to do it properly.

I got exactly zero Pyro achievements.  That way I won't feel bad when they go back to nerf all the upgrades they gave it.  I still wish they'd roll back the medic achievements to only require 25 though =<.

It was a bit too chaotic for my liking though, the problem of people being there who you don't know... I missed one of the achiements because of the ach. server crash... so no backburner for me yet. Ah well, I'll get most of them in normal play anyway.

I don't know about almost empty servers not getting them quickly. Me and 3 friends managed to get all 3 weapons for 3 of us in easily an hour. And then there was the morning that me, Fail, Joel, Ain, and some other people farmed medic achievements in duel for like 5 hours.

I also 3manned all the weapons with my friends. Easy and quick.
