TF2 Stats Reset?

I thought karma was in place of post count. So people could base their judgments on what people say instead of how often they say it.

Mostly this, it was a decision made very early on not to count posts, but anyway, stats will likely get a point reset when we know how imminent the engineer update is, there will also be a contest around the same time, so stay tuned.

Suggestion: You really should have some sort of system where points are reset on a regular basis. 2 weeks - Monthly.  Keeps competition alive, but no points get way out of hand. Use the MOTD to show top 10 or 20 and points they earned for the past month/kill ratios/time played, and people will have something to target for the next "round."  Allows for a healthy amount of competition without it becoming a huge deal.  Didn't make it this time, always next week to get in the listing, etc.

Example game that does this: Subspace aka Continuum.  Since 1997 its been around, still people playing, servers hold internal ladders and leagues as well. I have gone back to it time and time again because of the reset system.
