Why do you people keep diggin that up that was from when everyone was playing demoldier 24/7 except caff who by the way never got me through the Solly/Demo update.

Flamethrower changes

   * Increased base damage 10%-fine.
   * Afterburn duration increased (from 6 to 10)getting better
   * Flares that hit a burning player at mid-to-long range will crit-Doesn't work, apparently
   * Reduced Backburner damage bonus from 20% to 15%-fine

Anyone else notice it says "Flamethrower changes"? Nice job on the proof-reading.

overall, I think this was needed, the pyro has his fire back, and now they added a legitimate skill bonus.

flares work, i think the new update fixed them

also afterburn should only affect people who are in the very closest part of the flame i do not like taking 60 dmg for getting tagged by flame spam

I'll give you that much, that sounds...sound. So maybe the 6 seconds of damage on the outside edges of the flamethrower, but if they get about mid-way in they get about 10.
