Want a somewhat-perfect freezecam screenshot?

I like to take a lot of screenshots from the killcams/freezecams. For a long time now they had been ruined by HUD type items such as "You have been killed by...", and the HUD display for what weapon they were carrying. I had sent in a request to the Team Fortress 2 team for an option to disable all HUD items when taking screenshots. Today I had gotten an email stating this very feature had been implemented!

So far anyone who does not want HUD displayed in their screeshots, just put this in your console/autoexec.cfg:
hud_freezecamhide 1


Look, no HUD!


What it does not remove:
-Server side pop-ups. (Here.)
-Net_graph. (Here.)
-Maybe others.

Note: Only works during the freezecam.


In my opinion this is a very good feature, I will now be using many of my screenshots as wallpapers.

since the wait disable command this probably wont work on half the servers
