I just crafted my first class specific hat (note: crafted), and I got the Soldiers Stash. I feel so cheated.  :'(

I do not plan on doing a class specific hat again, it takes too much metal. I could have crafted a hat months ago otherwise.

Soldier's Stash isn't that bad.  And months? It takes like 3 weeks to craft 1 refined (assuming you reach your limit of drops each week).

3 weeks x 4 refined metals = 12 weeks / 4 = 2 months

Of course, not every month has the same amount of weeks in it so I took the average. Before you say "Hey, you only need 3 refined!", go back and re-read what I posted; IE: Class specific hat. And I also didn't include the items needed to craft a class metal. Plus, I keep at least one of every item I get. Either way I don't see why you brought that up.

And it's a matter of opinion on whether it's bad or not. I think it's a horrible hat and I wasted my time crafting it.

Which implies that it took you "months" to get that 1 extra refined + the token, the latter of which I admittedly didn't take into account so add another week and it should take about a month longer at the most to craft a class specific hat (which was my point) and have a better chance of getting something you want.

I wasn't trying to make a big deal out of it; I was just trying to say that it doesn't really take that much longer (compared to how long it takes to get 3 refined in the first place) to get the extra refined and IMO it's worth the wait (unless you already have most of the hats you want).  And of course it's a matter of opinion of whether it's a bad hat or not, I meant no offense.  :-\
