Windows 7 FPS Lag

Hey everyone, long time no talk.
I havn't been on much becuase ever seince I got windows 7 my FPS in Teamfortress plumited and I couldn't find a way to fix it.
Recently, I've been wanting to play TF2 again.
Help?

Yes all drivers are updated.
And I think its only teamfortress2, and Gmod. I can't really remember.
