Red Server crashing during RTV

I don't know what the deal is, but RED has randomly been crashing during map changes, but only after RTV.  Some admin (Caff? They only used the console to talk) said they were going to update something a couple days ago, but this happened again.  It's not really a huge deal, but when the server restarts it defaults to FNF mode, which sets up a password, which keeps pubs/people who haven't done a FNF/TFT yet out, which kills the server, etc.

So, you tech-savvy people, fix this!  Do it now!

Caff is the only one with rcon, so yeah, it was him.

I updated sourcemod before I left, guess it didn't fix the issue.

I won't be be to get to this until later Sunday when I get back, until then, use Blue or limit your use of RTV since that seems to be the root cause

Edit: got some downtime with the laptop at the room rather than with my phone, I'm updating Red and Red only to the latest release version, if it completely fucks shit up, use blue, because I wont be able to fix it until Sunday night most likely.

i think its cuz the server crashes every map change. last time i played on it, people were getting disconnected every map and having to retry

Then you have zero admin functionality....use blue until I get stuff sorted out...HeK would probably be able to disable sourcemod

[/quote]RCON is easy enough to use, kickid and banid are enough imo. Obviously you don't want to give everyone RCON, but it works and is better than a broken server.

I've been having random lag spikes in Red, and I know that I'm not the only one.

I cleaned off the temp files again, seems to be occurring more frequently....I should find a way to keep this from happening...anyway I'll be watching red for random crashes tonight and see what I can do.

Not sure it's just me but I have trouble connecting some times (Sits at the "Server is not responding" screen for about two minutes then starts connecting) If I attempt direct IP it gives the connection failed message. I can't help but wonder if maybe it's a corrupt map, not sure if it's in other maps but I've noticed missing textures in Aqua that weren't missing before (What sucks is Aqua is a good map...)

Ive not seen it crash...I do know I had the server not responding problem when connecting via IP...

I'll keep on top of sourcemod updates for the next few weeks to make sure things keep working
