I would buy it if there was some people on it that knew it. It'll be cool to connect to what the pyro was, while playing who it is today.

new dartgun:

only headshots do critical damage, bodyshots slowdown a little bit but do 1 damage.  4 darts per clip.  headshots do more damage the more darts you use in the clip (i.e. dart 4 will do more than dart 1).  darts fly a little bit faster than flare/arrow. 



NO MORE FUCKING BODYSHOTS.

You have to think that how close your head is to your body, there might be some accidents their, geoff.

The head shots doing full crit with the slowdown though?  thats pushing it alittle but I do like the speed.

Reflectable or too small to reflect?

Edit, Deflectable maybe, not a full reflect but enough to stray the path away from the vitals?

slowdown isnt cumulative.  also, since they are projectiles they are reflectable and dogdeable.  i dont see how thats op.

the only dart that does a full crit is the last dart in the clip.  headshots for darts 1-3 would crit but be significantly less powerful.  think about regular sniper how an uncharged hs is a crit but doesnt do that much damage.

[/quote]Yeah I was tired writing that. I can create powerful prose poking parallels pointing to paradise in perdition, but when I'm tired I become a utter fucking idiot with mushmouth syndrome and the ability to fuck anything up, even if I'm not in contact with it.

while it isn't cumulative, someone could body shot then go for the head easy, especially classes that have a modest speed, like demomen and other snipers, maybe even medics. Upon understanding what you mean by the 4th dart, I think it's an idea to complicated for them to implement.

Well no, the 4 dart clip is a good setback for the sniper, the lowered-body damage is good, though I don't think it should be so drastic as one point  maybe 10 damage, the about the damage of your normal pistol close range. damage by dart is also not a bad idea, but fairly complicated for lazy Valve.
