BRB,U MEGA GLOBAL TOUNAMENT SUPER FIGHT ARENA OF DEATH!

K amidst all the disscussion about the scrimteams, Dave being Awesome as he is decided to host his own tournament:

the BRBMGTSFAD '08

It will consist of any number of 4man teams, who will fight to a death on a randomly picked map, The teams are USER CREATED and must have an awesome name and preferably an awesome team spray or logo.

RULE:
(subject to change at any time since I am very likely to miss shit out)
Both teams will have to state 4 team members on the forum, there will NOT be a Sub.
Each team can only have 1 of each class at any time during the game.
Class can be canged at any time during the match and will not have to be stated on the teamsheet.
You can only ever be in one team at a time.
On maps where one team is defensive and one team is offensive, who plays which color first will be decided by flip of the coin
Each game will consist of three (at the moment, very likely to change when someone points out a flaw.) rounds.

Times of Each match will be sorted out by me and the teams involved, so at least 4 memebers are VERY likely to turn up.

The Tourn will opperate as a K/O pyramid system (like the karate kid.)

Team slots on the pyramid will be Randomly picked.
THE WINNER OF THE TOURN might get a prize if i can find something cheap and easy to supply.

Hmm, look solid, but what about pings? For example, lets say you, Ain, Ktj, and Budr make a European team, you would be at a distinct disadvantage playing on the US servers and vise versa.

Maybe we should have some form of official 'match' servers, I'm sure that Duck's or Ain's boxes could handle an extra 8man private server.

Meh. I've been watching the server the last few days, and it usually hits 90% CPU for a full-up 24-man game, so running an additional server is pretty questionable, especially on mapchanges :/

That said, we could always password the server for a couple of hours during the contest and run just the single instance of srcds_run.
