I just came here to post the exact same thing. Hopefully they'll fix whatever's causing it soon.

think it's a steam bug or something, got dced at the end of the first one on a dedicated server, crashed on the 2nd one on another dedicated, but the entire thing worked fine on a locally hosted server

I've heard that disabling addons makes it work for some reason.

Well, you were specifying that you wanted to get L4D2 with the DLC, which is a bit silly to tack on there considering you have no choice with the PC version, and then you said you had nobody to play with which, considering the large amount of L4D2 BRBU players, suggests that you are getting the version that not many had. And yes, buy the damn games.

I only play with new DLC mostly.  I'll probably give the new DLC another run cause I didn't play the first part of the map and then I'll be done with the game.  Just gets too repetitive.

Making the game harder, doesn't make it better.  It usually ends with everyone dying and either raging or just quitting before finishing.  Not that much fun.

I get cereal in Expert because I actually want to beat a campaign on expert, but whenever I play, y'all pussy out by map 3. Also, making L4D harder does make it better. That one custom campaign that went on for like 12 hours and had the train was the best fun I've had with the game since launch.

Expert is super cereal mode.
