They were fun when they made people rage.
Then they weren't fun anymore, and that's when they lost value to me.
It's like the cheater's lament: I wore it all the time to troll people. Then I got other hats.

That's the thing. Unless they're giving you set bonuses, hats have no value, other than what you have in your heart. It's entirely a personal choice whether you can trade a hat for 1 Sandvich or 4 Refined Metal.

That's an outright lie. As long as you're wearing a god tier hat for your current class, your skill as that class increased three-fold. Such an obvious fact. This is something that's been known for months now. Why do you think hats are so popular?

oh yeah i agree value is subjective but almost everyone buying/selling earbuds has offered atleast 2 hats for them in my experience AND I JUST DON'T GET IT.

I miss my Max Head...but it got me into the hat trading thing and let me end up where I am, with at least 1 hat per class.
