If there is a door a pyro will be behind it, if you stalk someone for a minute he will turn around right when you get in backstab distance. If you are using cloak and dagger your teammates will crowd around the spot you are regenerating your cloak and attract rockets. If someone can run into you they will. This is the thread for people with bad spy luck.

If you are staring at their back, something will go wrong and the stab will fail. If you are staring at their face, the stab will register and they won't stop bitching about it.

yep though I would also say that even if it doesn't crit then anything that can one shot you does one shot you.

Honestly Kirb? I get at least 4 or 5 fails a night. Backstabs are so sketchy for me sometimes, that I get more kills with the revolver/ambassador.

What is even worse than nothing though, is when it does damage. My thought when they turn around after seeing a blood splatter is "Whelp. Time for a 15 second respawn."

Probably another reason why I think the eternal reward sucks balls...eternally...
