do vintage items trade for more that new ones? I've got a vintage: Cloak and dagger, flare gun and FAN for trade...
side note - is there a reason to get the new HH Axe instead of going for the bad ass skull hat (other than the odds that you might get the voodoo 1) ?? I don't play demo much anymore, and if I do it's certainly not without my winbombs... PM about trade - I can't frequent the thread much edit: as per moose/a little research - 1 scrap for each of the vintage items. trust me... I'm a 2L

Vintage items go for slightly more than non-vintage items, but not by much. Maybe 1-2 scrap at most. Except for vintage crit-a-cola; for some reason I've seen those things go for up to a refined or even a crappy hat.
Vintage hats, on the other hand, are in general held at a significantly higher value than non-vintage hats (excluding new hats, of course, since they can't be vintage). Why? I don't know. All I know is that, from my experience, vintage hats are a lot easier to trade than non-vintage ones. As far as the new axe goes, as far as I know it's just a re-skinned eyelander. |

Vintage items can go for a scrap up until whatever the person who wants it thinks it's worth. Which can be quite a bit.
Vintage hats are rarer than non-vintage hats due to their finite numbers. The increased overall asking price for them is a result of this, but some people simply do not care whether an item is vintage or not. |

Hound dog, vintage toque, and a vintage tyrant's helm up for trade. I have a spare shortstop I'm looking to trade off as well.
Get them before they are gone for good. |

What would be a fair trade for the gift wrap? A poly spy gun+ GRU & a crate S1?

Not sure Reeve, but here's my guess. I believe Gift Wrap is $0.50 cheaper than keys, and I've seen those go for 1 refined (at the high end). New polycount weapons probably can go for 1-2 scrap, and a S1 crate can probably go for a scrap. All together, I would estimate (just a guess, feel free to wait for other opinions) around a refined for all 4 of those items.
