I'm wondering if he's planning on including hostile mob spawning. Also wonder when he's going to introduce Nether to SMP anyways. Making a well protected base while being bombarded with fireballs from all sides is its own excitement.

a good start at least...... did kinda sound like there was PvP damage too now..... i could be wrong..... but that'd make things very very uncomfortable better start building boobietraps for all you demented pillagers

PVP off during the day, on at night.  Fight for your survival.  Would be awesome as long as monsters spawn too.

also, no official rules for pking. like, kill people all you want, you wont get banned, but you will gain a bad rep and probably be killed yourself

Also turn off long range name visibility at night, to make PVP a challenge.
