Miserable failure; people kept either not showing up or quitting or just not following class assignments. If we ever do this again it can't be during our normal FNF slot.

This was an attempt to gauge how the community as a whole handled being exposed to a mock-competitive environment, and although a lot of you were following the rules and playing seriously, the few ruin it for the many.

I definitely feel I played better in the more competitive feeling environment than I do in normal matches. Watching MasterGH pwn with 250-300 ping was definitely enjoyable as well.

I hope that this event is tried again on a different night with more advertising. I didnt even know about it until someone put registering for this as a BRBu event on the steam group.

Maybe it should be just a pickup but you also choose the class they play for FNF. A srs bsns highlander with sign ups might work on another day that is not FNF.
