To Reiterate - All Participants will buy the "server wide" gift box, and we will all open our boxes at once for everyone, this may span multiple servers if necessary



Whatever date we do, there will be a special password to be determined later, pubs will be booted

problem with this event is if 30 people sign up there'll be 6 people on the outside.
maybe find if people want to buy more than one gift pack and have 2 openings.. to flesh out numbers for the outside group.

the other suggestion is just to hard cap it at 24 and first come first serve for spots.. im not very fond of this idea, because it encourages exclusion, but it seems the most practical.

Except you're guaranteed to have people who sign up, who don't show up. So say you can sign up or whatever, but only the first 24 into the server get to participate?

Yea, I've thought about this, it's gonna depend on sign-ups, if you got say, 30+ people, I see no problem with splitting it into two groups and letting pubbies in, if we only get 20 - 30, we'll probably go with a hard-cap and exclusive thing.


Just don't buy the gift box in advance and we'll "cross that bridge when we come to it"

tf2items.net is the only way I can think of it, everyone in the sever gets their inventory checked for it before the event
