New Stuff
Spiders climb walls and fences.
Skeletons drop bone
Mob spawning has been changed from what I've read on the forums
Maybe random creeper during the day(not observed by me yet)

Right clicking a sapling or planted field with Bone Meal yield a full grown tree/crop

Charcoal

Charcoal was an addition to Minecraft in version Beta 1.2. Using Wood in a furnace creates Charcoal, which has the same uses as Coal, including making torches, and smelting objects. This will undoubtedly make it easier to survive your first night as you only need two wood to make charcoal (one for fuel and one for the actual smelting). Charcoal does not stack with Coal.

Furnaces also got a new texture for the top and bottom

Sheep
New natural colors!
[Image: 119px-Blacksheep.jpg][Image: 120px-GreySheep.JPG][Image: 120px-Lightgreysheep.png]

New Bugs
Placing a torch on a ceiling tile that's next to a wall yields a floating torch.

Minecraft Note Blocks - Different Sounds

That's all I can think of right now. Time for dinner.

Woo hoo ACEN here I come.

Spiders can't climb sandstone.

Spiders can climb walls, not ceilings. 1 block overhang on the outside of the wall stops them.

Way to be observant.

I think that's the point of them being created.... there's really no other viable use for them other than arrow traps... save things like:

Russian Roulette: 1 dispenser, 8 stacks of arrows, some diamond or other valuable shit in the free space. Will you risk the arroz for diamondsz?zzzzs

King Leonidas: Dispenser wall, like a 40x40 grid of them, arrows in them all save one or two near the middle, lots of different valuables in the random one or two w/o arrows. Will you survive for the dosh?

Blood Sport: Obstacle course or maze with a glass ceiling or observer walkways over the top of the course/maze. Using the fact dispensers can hide behind a 1 block wall and still fire thru it, make a maze or course where the arroz can be fired using a combination of plates inside the course and remote toggle by a course operator following from above. This can lead the way to organized gambling and recreational events old school roman style. Maybe a colosseum with very limited lighting and glass safe areas for spectators, with randomly timed arrow dispensers hidden in while people battle monsters with random arrows flying about randomly. Maybe even go so far as to get demon to spawn someone a few mob spawner blocks for the colosseum.

This has potential.

Have fun, I wasn't volunteering to do any of it, I was just throwing ideas out there. I still have around 21,000 cobble to mine for my own project.
