koth_helix - I hope theres a bit more to this than the photos

cp_cruff - dustbowl style, looks pretty good

cp_ruction - 5 point style, looks unpolished but it might play well...

ctf_chasm - Compact but multi-tiered, could be fun...

Kirby is going to need to fix that...

Mildly embarrassed right now. (Fixed btw)

You know that's the most original 404 page you've seen in a long time on the internets. Deal with it nerds.

What I didn't do was not forget to chown the map files to www-data after the mirroring process.

I'm downloading 0byte archives.

Sad

Is something still wrong?

I seem to have fubar'ed something between FNF and now.

I just remade the zips and test downloaded them, they're good now.

I thought all of the maps besides helix were fun.  I hope the author keeps working on cruff, I think that one has potential -- the second point on each stage is a bit too easy to defend though.

If cruff got rid of the easy sentry spots on the very last point Id put it on vote

Cruff is badass, we should keep it around. Or at least pay attention as it gets worked on more.

One of the best TFTs I've gone to, map-quality wise! Aside from the KOTH map, very interesting stuff.

Helix, we saw how broken it was for RED spies to be able to drop down to BLU spawn, and BLU can't even do the same back. Plus the map was just...boring. Simplicity can be nice, but this was just a yawner.

Cruff, yeah, if the last point weren't sentry heaven, it would be great. Love the design and it's definitely one to keep an eye on for future updates (which I assume we'll stick in another TFT should we get one).

I liked Ruction, too, but mainly for how the gameplay turned out. I don't think the map's anything special, but it's effective. Stick it on the watch list.

Love the design in Chasm, mainly the middle zone. Lots of platforms and tunnels and paths there, it's a bit confusing at first but it was a very interesting design. It's quite tough to get the intel, though, but that's probably just bad teamwork on our part, since we weren't effective with ubers to take down sentries. Also worth keeping an eye, I'd say.

So the last three maps...while I can't say they're ready for rtv, I'd definitely like to play any updates in a future TFT.

I was a big fan of Cruff. I'd say make the 3-b easier to attack, maybe set up some cover so it's not a straight shot from the door to the point and get rid of that impossibly annoying sentry cliff and I'd love to get this on rotation. One of the best customs I've played in a long time.

Ruction was pretty fun too in my opinion. Throw in a few more large medkits and maybe shorten the overall length of the map (mainly the 2nd to mid) and I wouldn't have any problems with it.

Helix.... Helix was still better than Impact.

Cruff definitely has potential, and we should keep a close eye on it. Ruction was good, but could use more medpaks and metal, as backfire says. Helix might be more fun in Medieval mode, but who wants to play that way anyway?

I really liked the dustbowl-style map.  The inability to attack that one point hurts, though.  Definitely a mapmaker to keep an eye on.

The formats of the other maps make me cry tears of blood, though.  KOTH, CTF, and 5point maps are exactly why I don't play other fps games.  It makes it seem like pointless deathmatching.  There are very few of those style of maps that I like...and I can't actually think of any right now.

TFT needs more Payload and Attack/Defend style maps.  I like being able to think about my gameplan instead of just spamming more rockets for the win.
