Valve had the bright idea to have the demo uploads to client happen on the main execution thread.

Oh also, doing the following may crash servers when done in the console

Kill, Explode, Spectate, Join_Team (when on a team)


I have installed a SM plugin that blocks all that stuff until Valve fixes it

I kept getting screwed when we did this last time. Wife kept telling me at the last minute that we would have somewhere to be. But I want another chance to do it.

That would actually be fun. I usually don't participate in those types of things, but I'm starting to get bored with TF2 again so it would liven it up.

We are masters with Jarate! (Well some of us.  )


Actually, that would be a neat competition. Each class would be a team; get the best players for each class. Although, some matches would be very stacked. :p

Honestly I wouldn't see anything but a team of flare pyro's being able to counter a team of (pro) snipers. No other class has the ability to suppress a sniper from long range like a flare, and I learned long ago that trying to rely on dinging a sniper long range with a shotgun pellet to jerk his scope is not reliable at all when playing against pro snipers.


Heavys spamming 2 to a corner or a squad of DH soldiers maybe, but you guys can still pop out way too fast between shots, flares at least are timed effect.


Unless you got like 2 Mercs, 2 Johns and 2 Loq's with all Ambassadors anyway....

Did one of the updates do something to the targe? I'm able to revolver targe demos for 120 at close range and crit for 240, and I know that's not right
