I don't even play, and I'm afraid of what these demos will do... true, they're one trick ponies now... but, the fucking sword turns ammo into health.  That's huge.

Well if it wasn't already confirmed, soldier's getting that Jane's Dumpster Device kit. Guessing this is gunna be that pocket soldier stuff they have testing in beta. The stuff that gives you a buff with a medic, but nerf without one.

holy crap.... This update is the only thing [other than the Dispatch show I'm missing] that makes me mad I'm studying in Ireland for the next 5 weeks... can't wait to get that scout stuff when I get home

Gaaahhhh, new Scout pistol is the exact opposite of what I wanted (looks cool, though), but the "upgraded" FaN sounds sweet.  The Bat?  Ehhhh, I can do without a triple jump, and my "Homestar Runner" Sandman works just fine as an extra projectile.  Close to a good Scout pack as we're gonna get right now.

In all honesty, it seems to me that every one of these weapons so far is aimed at being slightly OP.


A FAN that gives mini crits when you pwn enough (buff banner)

A silent spinup minigun

A demo setup that says im not longer a useful demoman, just a charge fool

If that sniper rifle doesn't make people like liquid literally unstoppable, I dunno what will?

I honestly dread seeing what Pyro gets, maybe TFC's incendiary cannon as a secondary?

the fuck is soldier going to get? a valve rocket launcher?

This update = not liking thus far, i'm starting to see UT:TFC. all DM, all the time.
