Au contraire.  Almost all of the new crafting recipes are AT LEAST 2-3 RECLAIMED metal + weapons.  That is a huge mistake IMO.  I'm still excited about everything else with the update though.

Left 4 dead 1 to 2, there was only a 1 year wait on its release.

A game that's lasted 4 years with over 200 updates? Not even close to a mistake.

I can say, without a doubt, everybody on this community got TF2 for free with the Orange Box, so this doesn't really changes anything.

Also, remember that TF2 is more a social game than a competitive game (even though there is a scene), and while more people play, it gets better (as long as no more Dakotas join brb.u)

In other notes.. Quick Fix looks interesting, using it for that final point in Dustbowl looks like the most viable option

I've been trying to connect to steam ever since I restarted it to start the update...

S'been about a half-hour now...

Bleh, not a fan of the new start-up menu. Though the 2fort background may have something to do with it (but I heard it randomizes, we'll see).

New crafting interface is rather clunky. Just seems awkward with everything on the left side until you click on something.

Love the new loadout selection screen, though. Grid's the way to go with all these weapons now.
