No, it doesn't, and yes it can.

It says can't download when the files are corrupted.


I forgot to reload the reserved slots plugin, but since they just killed the with backwards dustbowl like a bunch of retards, probably going to have to wait until tomorrow to see if it's fixed. I'm not hanging around to see.

I've got it figured out now, unfortunately.


Valve just fixed the way the server reports data to your server browser, so the playercount is not bugged because of replay or SourceTV.

What they did not do, however, is stop the replay function from being a bot and taking a real player slot up. Just type status in your console, it will report the bot, still there, it's a real client.

The problem is, our reserved slots do not work like most servers' - ours will allow 25 people to connect, if everyone has a reserved slot, we see this every week during FNF/TFT.

That precludes replays from being enabled, because most servers reserved slots always *force* that one last slot to be open, ergo replays are protected elsewhere, but ours is set up to operate 100% backwards from the normal reserved slot methods.


We have 2 options if everyone wants replays enabled on red, there are no hacks or workarounds to make this work.


Someone cough up the extra money every month to Caff to upgrade red to 26 slots, so replay has it's very own slot, or we go to a server where the maximum playercount is 23. Because replay needs slot 24, and 25 must remain open, because even connecting via the console like you would for the reserved slot, requires the 25th to be unoccupied so the server isn't like lol nope.

Yeah I had noticed that earlier this week I tried to join when it was full and got kicked for using a reserved slot. When I reconnected replay was gone until the next map.

Part of the problem was for some unknown reason, the plugin wasn't logging when replay was getting kicked but logging it kicking players, so I wasn't sure if it was the problem. I verified it by literally watching the log stream in for like 20 minutes until I saw replay suddenly have a different playerid than it had a minute ago, so it had to have reconnected.


I will get the plugin working hopefully tonight now.

I'll probably just bump Yellow to 24-slot and rename it Blue come next billing cycle.
