Did someone give me Professor Speks?

I am quite confused. Came home from the movies to join TFT mid-way through, and after coming on, it says I have items waiting for me. I thought that odd and clicked, lo and behold, Professor Speks were waiting for me! I don't remember helping any F2P people out...just wondering if someone in here sent them my way, maybe for an idle account or something, I don't know. Just looking for who to thank.

If you got in-game and it says you have new items awaiting, I think it's usually because you got them on a random drop during your previous session but didn't die or whatever before you disconnected. I don't know if you can anonymously shoot someone items like that, else there would be a lot of crate-bomb trolling.

Well Professor Speks are different in that regard. When a F2P player upgrades their account, they can name a user on their friends list who helped them out the most, and that gives the named user Professor Speks. But it only tells me the number of the new users helped (just 1 here, of course), and no names.

although you could just buy 2 keys (or equivalent) and trade them to yourself after a few days
