Did your bind for Toggle Developer Console get overwritten, perhaps?
Also... this'll be weird, but check to make sure you don't have a remote control receiver plugged into a USB. Like, uh, one for Media Center or something. I don't know about TF2, but that does prevent console from opening on Oblivion. It's like it overrides what ` / ~ means on the keyboard or some stupid crap like that and the game doesn't see you typing it. |

Go to options, then keyboard, then hit the 'advanced' button, if the box that says 'Enable Developer Console' was not checked, that was your problem. If it is checked, I haven't the slightest...unless the physical Key is broken.

I usually close the door, then open it again. Push down on the cartridge, and try to jiggle it side to side. If that doesn't work, use something narrow like a screwdriver to push the black cartridge carriage down then up again. If that doesn't work, you may need to open up the case and replace the springs, that is a common problem with early entertainment system models.
OOps, wrong thread. |
